Purpose

The Summer Institute Staff provides leadership for the Summer Institute: mentoring Interns as they prepare for the fall tour; coaching PREP members who serve as leaders-in-residence while experiencing leadership through service; and cultivates a culture steeped in ICC's core values.

Description

The Summer Institute Staff serves in a variety of areas. Individual roles vary depending on the strengths of those accepted to serve. Some common roles include daily scheduler, worship leader, transportation coordinator, PREP team coordinator, meal oversight, Training Center caretaker, and Intern Team support. Every member of the Summer Institute Staff team fills various roles throughout their time at the Training Center as the need arises.

Program

ICC Summer Institute Staff team members are asked to commit June through August each year. Exact dates will be finalized as the summer approaches. 

Requirements:

• Minimum age 18 years
• If offered a position, must secure a background check through ICC's service prior to arrival.
• Be committed to ongoing leadership training including peacemaking, self-awareness, and communication skills.
• Be interested in ongoing coaching for your role and leadership skills.
